Midport Scandinavia delivered Infor LN CloudSuite ERP for VR FleetCare

VR FleetCare, a subsidiary of the Finnish railway company VR, offers their customers maintenance and modernisation services for rolling stock in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

- Train maintenance is highly regulated business. The complex vehicle structures and therefore the variating data, counter handling and maintenance planning creates extreme challenges to the system setup and functionalities, particularly for the planning and execution of the service. Midport Scandinavia was selected to support VR FleetCare on this project based on the extended experience on similar business. The close collaboration for design, build and proper testing of the solution was essential, says Olli-Pekka Saari, Project Manager at Midport Scandinavia.

The work started at VR FleetCare a few years ago, and the implementation was carried out in phases. Midport Scandinavia has been responsible supplier in the project since the very beginning. The final milestone was achieved on October 25th 2025, as all the services for trains, locomotives, passenger and cargo wagons, and special vehicles are now managed in Infor LN.
